Founder-led advisory
Strategic judgment shaped by operating responsibility.
Ross-Sheffield Advisory was built to bring experienced perspective, focused thinking, and practical leadership to businesses with meaningful growth opportunities and real operating complexity.

Eric Ross-Sheffield
Eric has spent more than 15 years building teams, growing revenue, improving customer performance, and leading through change. His perspective was built in corporate leadership, sharpened through hands-on operations, and tested through the responsibility of owning businesses himself. His background spans technology, SaaS, consumer products, telecommunications, IoT and telematics, national retail, healthcare, specialty retail, and e-commerce.
He built and led B2C and B2B inside sales, BDR, and Customer Success functions; managed large teams and national retail relationships; developed new revenue motions; and helped organizations improve conversion, retention, and management visibility.
As an owner-operator and owner-advisor, Eric has also been accountable for inventory, staffing, merchandising, purchasing, cash flow, customer experience, and the daily decisions that determine whether a strategy works outside the conference room. He is equally comfortable setting the direction, coaching the leader, or stepping onto the sales floor to understand what the business is really asking of its people.
Who we are
Ross-Sheffield Advisory is intentionally founder-led. Eric leads every client relationship and remains accountable for the thinking, recommendations, and quality of the work. Trusted specialists are involved only when their expertise directly strengthens the assignment.
For select retail projects, Lane Ross-Sheffield contributes visual merchandising and presentation expertise. His role is focused: Eric sets the commercial and operating direction, and Lane helps translate that direction into the physical customer experience. Additional implementation support may be used when a project requires hands-on floor execution.
The firm’s point of view
The best advice is commercially ambitious, operationally honest, and clear enough to execute. Ross-Sheffield Advisory exists to help leaders see the full system, choose what matters, and build the discipline to move it.
